Barwell Mobile Library - When does the mobile library visit Barwell ?
The mobile library visits Barwell on Thursdays 9.30am – 12.45pm at Church Close and at the George Ward Centre from 1.30pm – 4.30pm
Cemetery Opening Hours - When is the cemetery open?
Between November and March the Cemetery is open weekdays from 8.00am till 4.00pm (3.00pm on Fridays). Weekends and Bank Holidays the handgate only isopen from 9.00am till 4.00pm
Between April and October the Cemetery is open weekdays from 8.00am till 5.00pm. Weekends and Bank Holidays the handgate only is open from 9.00am till 7.00pm
Can I attend a Council Meeting?
All meetings are open to the public. There is a public participation section on each Agenda where you can voice your concerns, wishes or just make general comments. The dates of the council meetings are listed on the website and are also posted in the Parish Council office window.
Can I speak to a Councillor ?
All Councillors are available to speak to – if you contact The Clerk on 01455 844229 she will be able to take your details and arrange for your chosen or the most appropriate Councillor to contact you
I want to complain about our pavement?
Roads, pavements and street lighting complaints and issues need to be reported to Leicestershire County Council. You can either do this by completing their online form https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/about-the-council/contact-us/complaints-and-comments or you can call 0116 305 0001 (Monday - Thursday 8.30am – 5pm, Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm)

Summer opening (1 April to 30 September). Open five days a week. Closed Thursdays and Fridays. Open Saturday to Wednesday
Winter opening (1 October to 31 March). Open five days a week. Closed Thursdays and Fridays. Open Saturday to Wednesday
All sites are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day
How can we stop cars speeding along our road its dangerous?
If you have a problem with speeding cars this can be reported to Leicestershire County Council by ringing the main switchboard number 0116 232 3232 Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Fridays 8.30am to 4.30pm.and ask to speak to the Traffic Management Department
Where are Barwell Defibrillators located?
There are two Defibrillators in Barwell one at the Chemist on High Street and the other is located at the Sports Pavilion on Dovecote Park.
